Syracuse Tech Week is the longest community-driven, technology focused event in Syracuse NY. Hundreds of people will be coming together to learn, support, and celebrate Syracuse’s growing interest and passion for science and technology. 

The Marriott Syracuse Downtown happens to be in the middle of the ‘technology corridor’ of Syracuse, where investors, entrepreneurs, leaders, educators, business pioneers, and more come together to celebrate technology.

Drones

Monday, April 22
This day is dedicated to drone technology – displaying all shapes and size drones. You will be able to learn about local drones’ clubs and manufacturers, and see a variety of accessories and uses. The room will be filled with vendor, tech talks, exhibits, demonstrations, discussions, trunk sales, meet & greet, Solve-It challenges, interviews, Pitch-It platform, Quiz corner, and workshop corner.

Robotics

Tuesday, April 23
This day is dedicated to robotics – displaying all shapes and size robots. You will be able to learn about local robotics’ clubs and manufacturers, and see a variety of accessories and uses. The room will be filled with vendor, tech talks, exhibits, demonstrations, discussions, trunk sales, meet & greet, Solve-It challenges, interviews, Pitch-It platform, Quiz corner, and workshop corner.

Raspberry Pi
& Science Kits

Wednesday, April 24
This day is dedicated to the Rasberry Pi, and a variety of science kits that use them – displaying what it is and how they work. You will be able to learn about this latest technology craze, why everyone is using the it, and see a variety of accessories. The room will be filled with tech talks, exhibits, demonstrations, discussions, trunk sales, meet & greet, Solve-It challenges, interviews, Pitch-It platform, Quiz corner, and workshop corner.

Cyber Security
& IT Hacking

Thursday, April 25
This day is dedicated to Information Technology Cyber Security and hacking topic and tools – educating about what it is and ways to avoid it. You will be able to learn how to detect and avoid being an easy target. The room will be filled with tech talks, exhibits, demonstrations, discussions, meet & greet, Solve-It challenges, interviews, and more.

Technology Clubs

Friday, April 26
The room will be used for local science clubs to show off projects and accomplishments. Participants will be grade schools, local colleges, community groups, enthusiasts, and other organizations. If you have a ‘geek side’ come out and join others with similar interests.

Internet of Things
& Tech Job Fair

Saturday, April 27
The room will be filled with tech companies promoting their products, including an AR "Try Me" corner - to see what it's all about. Also there will be a job fair of local tech companies currently hiring. If you are looking to change careers there are several companies hiring!

TBD – Robot Interview – the MOST will be holding a live interview in which a robot will interview a human.

TBD – Technology Window Displays – the Landmark will be allowing tech companies to display their cool gadgets for the public to see.

Saturday afternoon – After Hours Networking – After Hours at The Rail Line will take place at 530 S. Clinton St. Syracuse, immediately following the Syracuse Tech Week event on Saturday April 27th. Don’t miss out on the chance to network one-on-one with everyone with similar interests as you!

Technology Poster Contest: “Syracuse, a Tech City!” Syracuse Tech Week is an interdisciplinary display of technology. Though the focus of Tech Week 2019 is on drones, robotics, raspberry pi, and cyber security, that is not all our local community manufacturers and entrepreneurs have to offer. Syracuse Tech Week is really about promoting Syracuse’s technology ecosystem. Your challenge is to design a poster that represents “Syracuse, a Tech City!”.
