Syracuse Tech Week is the longest community-driven, technology focused event in Syracuse NY. Hundreds of people will be coming together to learn, support, and celebrate Syracuse’s growing interest and passion for science and technology.

 

The Syracuse Tech Week kick off will be held at The MoST. The following four days are being held at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown which happens to be in the middle of the ‘technology corridor’ of Syracuse, where investors, entrepreneurs, leaders, educators, business pioneers, and more come together to celebrate technology. The two final days will be presented back at The MoST.

MedTech and Healthcare Technology

Monday, October 11th
This day is dedicated to medical and healthcare technology – displaying innovative medical technology used by doctors, such as a da Vinci Surgical System. You will be able to learn about cutting edge diagnosis tools, and modern equipment used by healthcare professionals. The room will be filled with vendors, tech talks, exhibits, demonstrations, discussions, meet & greet, and more.

Tuesday, October 12th
This day is dedicated to drones and space technology, as well as mechanical technology – displaying all kinds of drones, radar technology, rocket technology, CNC machines, 3D printing and more. You will be able to learn about local drones’ clubs and manufacturers, and see mechanical tools and devices that are exciting to watch. The room will be filled with vendors, tech talks, exhibits, demonstrations, discussions, meet & greet, challenges, and interviews.

Friday, October 15th
This day is dedicated to a hackathon, coding, gaming, open source, bitcoin, and blockchain – educating what hacking is and how it works to avoid being compromised. There will be all kinds of coding and gaming enthusiasts with challenges around the room. There will be a live demonstration of bitcoin mining and information on blockchain. You will be able to learn about local clubs and see exciting gaming competitions you can participate in or just watch. The room will be filled with vendors, tech talks, exhibits, demonstrations, discussions, meet & greet, challenges, and interviews. This years event will include a job fair from local, regional, and national employers.

Technology Poster Contest: “Syracuse, a Tech City!” – Syracuse Tech Week is an interdisciplinary display of technology. Though the focus of Tech Week 2021 is on drones, robotics, raspberry pi, and cyber security, that is not all our local community manufacturers and entrepreneurs have to offer. Syracuse Tech Week is really about promoting Syracuse’s technology ecosystem. Your challenge is to design a poster that represents “Syracuse, a Tech City!”.
